I used to say that I'd gladly commit myself to being a plain housewife. Perhaps due to the fact that in our family, my mom chose to be a full time mother and wife. Or, perhaps I was just being dreamy and hopeless romantic during those younger years of my life. Yes, I find being committed to your husband and children a very romantic idea. Especially for those women who were able to get a degree and be really good at what they're doing, giving up your life's worth of work is no easy thing. It just means that you are very dedicated, and that the guy you chose is really worth everything. Most of my friends even ask me why would I do that for someone? Sabi nga nila "Bakit ka pa nag-aral? Anong gagawin mo sa degree mo?" And I'd gladly reply, "Bakit kapag ba naging housewife ka na wala ng kwenta mga pinag-aralan mo? Diba magagamit mo yun sa pagtuturo mo sa mga anak mo? Plus, hindi naman agad ako magaasawa, siguro 3-4 years na trabaho tapos ayun."

This band made me look forward to the long weekend and just laze all day.


Belle and Sebastian is a band formed in Glasgow, Scotland on 1996.  The indie pop band is composed of 7 members:  Stuart Mordoch (vocals, guitars and keyboards), Stevie Jakson (vocals and guitars), Chris Geddes (keyboards), Richard Colburn (drums), Sarah Martin (violin, keyboards, electric and acoustic guitar, and vocals), Mick Cooke (trumpet and bass) and Bobby Kildea (guitar and bass).

I've been wanting to go back to buying heels after college. However, due to the work I had, it is not (again) the most practical thing to wear during treks, mountain climbing and river watching. Now that I'm back to school (again) I might try to get my hands on lady-like shoes once more.

I've been hoarding shoes recently (a pair or two/month) but they are all of the sneakers and flats type. I said I love heels but I'm too picky in terms of rocket high shoes. I have several qualifications in choosing the perfect lady shoes :)

I have been totally obsessed with make-up products the past few months. Probably because of the restriction that I had before since it wasn't really practical to do some pretty-ing up in my previous job. Not that it is not allowed, it's just not practical doing all the lab and field works and all prep up, it's just not... fitting. And now that I am back to being a student again, I have all the time in the world to some pretty-me time (hihi). I don't actually have much make-up in my stash cause I'm trying to keep myself from hoarding. It's also not really necessary for me to go out being all made up, most of the time it's just some j&j and I'm off. However, it is nice to experiment from time to time, and perhaps, give yourself some TLC :).

Once again it's that time of the year... FHM's 100 sexiest women of 2012 polls have been opened to the public. And since I can't vote, due to being a big cheapskate and not being able to register on their site, I just made my own short version of what I consider as the top 10 hottest Filipinas. This is based basically on my own judgement of what is crazy hot. Of course, having great boobies are a big plus ;p.
